Houston, Texas - Date -- Lee O'Shields has been elected vice president
and chief information officer of , Inc. as
announced today by President and CEO Jean-Pierre Seeuws. In this
position, O'Shields is responsible for all information technology and
information systems including data and voice communications for the
petrochemicals company in North America.
O'Shields has been with ATOFINA Petrochemicals, Inc. for 18 years,
beginning his career in 1984 as a programmer analyst with the
Exploration and Production Division of American PetroFina. He
transferred to Corporate Headquarters in Dallas in 1989 where he held
various information and technology positions. ATOFINA Petrochemicals
Ins. moved its corporate office to Houston in 2000. O'Shields relocated
to the Houston in 2000.
O'Shields has a BBA from Southwest Texas State University and a MBA from
Corpus Christi State University. He makes his home in Magnolia, Texas.
