Littelfuse Broadens TVS Diode Product Offering
for Full Range of Power Ratings and Packages

New Surface Mount and Axial Lead Products Offer Complete
Silicon Avalanche Diode Solution in RoHS Compliant Packaging


DES PLAINES, Illinois, January 17, 2005 – Littelfuse, Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:LFUS) today announced the expansion of its TVS Diode product lines to include the new 400 Watt and 1500 Watt products. The new 400W parts are available in both an axial leaded package P4KE, (DO-41) and surface mount package SMA, (DO-214AC). A new 1500W version in a surface mount package SMC, (DO-214AB) is also available.

TVS Diodes are specifically designed to protect electronic equipment from high voltage/high energy transients. They have excellent voltage clamping levels and are ideally suited for many applications including computer equipment, control modules, automotive system and industrial products.

The new product lines include the P4KE Series 400W axial leaded product, the SMAJ Series and P4SMA Series 400W surface mount products, and the SMCJ Series and 1.5SMC Series 1500W surface mount products. All series are available in voltage ranges from 5.0 to 550 volts. Consistent with the Littelfuse’s existing TVS Diodes product offering, all of these new products are both RoHS compliant and are recognized under the Components Program of Underwriters Laboratories.
