According to a recent Department of Commerce study, "A Nation Online," 143 million Americans, or about 54% of the population, are using the Internet, and new users are adopting the technology at a rate of better than two million per month. The study revealed the primary use of the Internet is email. That's right EMAIL! Email made up 84% of online users' activity. And nearly half (45%) of the population now uses email. The simple fact is if you're in business to make money you need to be communicating by email.

So how do you go about building a highly targeted email list?
