I think this is great we should deport any heathen caught burning a flag!!!

Erm I'm a little confused - what if you felt that burning a flag would convey an important message, for example maybe suggesting that the US government shat all over what the flag stands for or something... why would that need harsh consequences?

Hmm that would still be bad because even if they did and your trying to say they did then in your heart that flag would mean something and you would never burn it. Burn some govt building, riot or something maby, but burn the flag which your saying should mean something no. if you did that you would be even less than those you say have done wrong.
